Interesting first volume of a five part series about Antonio Burns, an agent for the Wyoming CID. The location is well described. There is a lot of information about rock climbing as a sport and the people who climb. Some readers thought there was more information than necessary but I liked learning about a sport I knew nothing about..The book stressed the ties that bind a family, both good and bad. I would recommend this book as the starting point of a series I thoughly enjoyed.

This is one of the best books I have read in a while, especially since it is this author's first book. The book is exciting and educational if you like rock climbing. The hero is tough, an excellent climber and sometimes a little too heroic after getting beat up so much. I really liked the way the book was written and can highly recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers and mysteries.
