Much faster-reading than the original, but it's a fun, fluffy read. I'd read others in this series but they probably won't end up on the keeper shelf. That said, there are no real faults to point to- just not a lot of substance. The best bits are Austen's, and they are worked nicely in with the new stuff, but nothing here is going to be a revelation.
