Elisabetta Gnone was the co-creator of the Italian comic/magazine W.I.T.C.H. in April 2001, along with Alessandor Barbucci and Barbara Canepa. It was later made into the television series of the same name.

She also wrote the kids' trilogy Fairy Oak: Il segreto delle gemelle (The Secret of the Twins) L'incanto del buio (The Spell of Darkness), Il potere della luce (The Power of Light).

Elisabetta Gnone was born in Génova on April 13, 1965, and, after the classic studies became journalist, in 1992. Since always atrída for “the magical” universe of books, her contribution with the Topolino weekly was only the beginning of a career that will take her name to the biggest publishing success of Walt Disney Italia: it collaborates in the series of monthly publications of Bambi, Minnie & Comp. and the Small Series, and creates, in 1997, the publication of Winnie the Pooh.
