I was surprised. I liked this book very much. The impossibility the situation between Johnny and the slayer, who is his wife whom he thought he killed, and their daughter keeps you wanting to keep on reading to find out how they make it to the other side of love. There is intrigue, betrayal, murder and misunderstanding as well as daemons, vampires, and half breeds working with humans to stop the sale of enriched uranium for a dirty bomb to one of the world's six most dangerous terrorists. Read this book and you will like it if you like preternatural romance and the struggle between good and evil.
