A fun and erotic book. The heroine is a spunky feminist from the 1960s who gets transported to another galaxy by a weird time/space distortion. The hero is the galatic warlord who loves her. This is probably one of the best in the Trek Mi'Qan series, but it has all the strange stuff in the the rest of the Trek Mi'Qan series as well as the typical alpha male that Jaid Black has in her books - the huge (and I mean huge as in over 7 feet tall) muscular male who is a fierce warrior.

While I do love erotica, this book was just one sex scene after another -
I am soooo sick of huge, super-dominant males, & all the females that are running from them. The plot/storyline was incidental to the sex.

I shouldn't be bored with a book series when I'm only on #3. I love Jaid Black's writing, but the plot stringing the books together is not intriguing enough to drag it out for more books. I'm invested now, so I'll probably keep reading, but sometimes, it's a chore.

Yes, it is familiar- the characters, the settings all follow and coordinate, book to book. That includes the acing, the sex scenes, the timing and placement of each bit of business. The unfortunate fact is this is just another formula book put together by the Mistress of SciFi erotica. I would like to expect more from her.
