The Wild Horsemen are on their way to destroy the city. The councilors discuss their options and decide to pray to the Great Cloud Dragon for help. The small boy who tends the gate meets a short fat man who says he is the dragon and takes him to the council. The council doesn't believe the man and soon the Wild Horsemen are there. The small boy gives the dragon what he has to eat and dragon and asks him to save the city. The dragon does and the small boy is named the Honorable Defender of the City.

Why I recommend it: The illustrations are done in many colors and are detailed with lots to look at. The storyline is familiar to many fairytales.
