I am slowly discovering British authors and Stephen Leather is a very good one. This story is about a man who works identifying the victims of ethnic cleansing. When he finds 26 people dead in the back of a truck in Sarajevo, and he realizes a witness to the atrocity is alive, he leaves no stone unturned to find her. I never thought about the neccisity of such a job.
