Thanks to all the volunteers who stepped up to run a swap this FALL !   Makes me so happy, cause with my travels, there is often a month I'm not around much and wouldn't be able to run a swap myself.

I am going to open the oven mitt swap mid-September.  Thinking an Autumn theme.  I've seen several in the stores already.

How do you all feel about handmade oven mitts as opposed to storebought ones?

I want to make sure we are talking about the same thing: oven mitts are the mitten shaped ones that enclose your whole hand - not a square potholder.  So, as long as it keeps my hand from getting burned, I think a handmade one would be great!

Why not go ahead and open the swap, that way we can give people more time to see the swap, as some peeps dont see it in time. Everyone would have a chance to see it.

This is NOT the official sign up for any of the swaps.  This convo was just started so everyone could see what we have coming. Start dates are decided by the swap hostesses and coordinated with me so that we don’t have two people offering the same type of swap at the same time.
