These are recipes from East Tennessee. The book was probably published in 1990. There are many interesting recipes in this book such as Bags of Gold, which are cheese dumplings cooked in tomato soup; Beet Relish; Rhubarb Salad; Fish Divan; Spicy Shrimp and Bacon Kabobs. There are also more typical recipes like Freezer Slaw, Blackberry Jell-O Salad, Old Fashioned Dumpling (the ones like big noodles), Southern Pork Chops, Whole Fried Okra and Hog Jowls and Turnip Greens.
