I finished Christine Feehan's Spider Game and I was completely disappointed on how Trap acted in several scenes to the point that I thought he was abusive toward Cayanne and therefore I gave it 1 star on GR and thinking that I am through with this series. *sigh*

Has anyone here read any of the sci-fi/fantasy/romance books by K. D. Jones and what did you think?  Amazon has several of her books for 99c kindle edition.  Just wondered if they were worth even that price.

I've not read any of of those Cynthia.

I finished Blindside tonight, and dang, if it's possible I loved it even more than the first two!

I read Designs of Desire by Tempeste O'riley.

Now I'm gonna take a tiny break from the romance genre and finally read ROOM by Emma Donoghue. I want to get it read before the dvd comes out.

So....ROOM was pretty good. I wasn't blown away by it like some others were but it was good.

I realized I was behind on the Jail Bait series by Mia Storm so I spent last night and today reading Getting Hot, and Getting Lucky. Love this series.

Melissa, Blindside was my favourite, too!

I started and finished The Deep of the Sound by Amy Lane yesterday. Powerful.  That's not a word I typically use for Lane's writing but this was just...wow.

Ok Ani, I had to look that one up. It says book 8 of a series. Can these be read as stand alone?

Definitely as a stand alone.  They all can really, although characters do show up from one book to another so it helps, while not mandatory, to read the others first.  PM me and I can guide you through the relationships you should know.

I've been reading this fourm for...a while :) and am very sad to see it shrunk so very much over the past 2 years.    I would like to add myself to this months What  are we reading February 2016 if there are no objections.

I just finished a delightfully romantic read titled Jar of Dreams by Liz Flaherty.    It starts out with the male lead of the story,  who is of all things a terrible driver (this is mentioned several times through out the book) running the leading lady off the road as he is going to visit his honorary aunt.

I have started Mia Marlowe's A rake by any other name and nearing the halfway point I am still undecided if I Really like or not.

Welcome, Renee!!  No need to ask for permission. I just horned in last month because I realized I rarely discuss books with people anymore, although reading is one of my loves.

I'm reading through a little holiday anthology right now called Wish-something by Keira Andrews, Joanna Chambers, et al.  It's available in e-book form only.

Welcome Renee! The more, the merrier for sure! It is sad to see how much the group has shrunk. At the same time, though, I know real life gets in the way sometimes.

My problem?  I can never remember the name of the book I'm reading on my ereader!

I just started a new one tonight, Joely Sue Burkhart's One Cut Darker.  Sequel to One Cut Deeper (and I so hope I'm getting the names right).  A kinda dark BDSM book.  The first one is currently on sale for 99 cents and I think it's well worth the price.  It's dark and edgy and if you don't like BDSM you won't like it but, dang, what a good read.

Finished Marlow's Rake by any other name.  Unimpressive IMO.

Read and finished Leigh Greenwood's Forever and always as well. The book was only O.K. for me.

Next,  starting Double Deception by Maria Greene

Finished Rebecca Zanetti's Forgotten Sin and I really liked the book and the premise of the storyline. There was a amnesia trope, but I understand why she needed it for this story. Can't wait to pick up the next one.

I finished a couple. Bad Behavior by KA Mitchell, loved...don't not know why it took me so long to get to this one, and The Truth About Riley by Henrietta Clarke, I was hoping to love this one but it turned out to be just ok for me.

Another mediocer book Double Deception.   Broke from Romance to read a Fantasy book by Swann titled Dragon Thief, the second in the series of...I really think it ended so 2.  Chaotic fun screwball drama.   I really wanted this to be a great read like the first one and it was but in a different way.  I think I will send this one on to my sis as she will readily enjoy it even more so then I did.

Started Larkspur Road by Gregory and am enjoying it.

Melissa, I was suprised to hear Truth About Riley was only okay for you.  It's on my Keeper Shelf.  I'd love to discuss with you via PM.

ETA: Corrected my spelling.

I finished my Wish book which was okay.  Some stories being better than others as is the wont with anthologies.  I just started something last night but, again, I can't think of the title.  LOL  I'll look it up at lunchtime.

I'm reading Country Heaven by Ava Miles.  She's one of the few M/F authors I read anymore.
