This is a fun book with a few places where the story gets murky. I like the idea of highrises blooming out of a stack of garbage, though 40 feet thick sounds much too shallow. And a restaurant that pulls up to your window ... nice! ... I did not know of the movie when I was pointed at this book by a friend.
