It was time for a Danielle Steel no-brainer book. I needed a break from the heavy historical fiction! Pretty good story about an author who had recently lost her child, and wanted to get away from it all. She buys an old house to fix up in the Berkshires. Tried to be a recluse for four years til she finally warms up to the contractor who's helping her with the renovations. Side story of how she raised her sister who escaped her life to become a nun. More side story about the child she gave up for adoption when she was sixteen. It all comes together for an enjoyable read.
