I have a WL book on it’s way to me and I just discovered that I read it in 2016.   Since it’s still WL, I guess I will use it to play in a game........ugghhhh

Jeanne - Because I read so many books and don't remember what I've read and what I haven't read, I've devised a system to help me.  I pull up the book, and then go under MORE OPTIONS and then PERSONAL NOTE (it's the one that only you can see what's in there), and put either TBR or BIR in the box, and then when  I look at that book again, I can click on the yellow post-a-note thing and see if I've read it or if it's in my TBR pile. It's saved me many a time from ordering a book I've already read. Now when I've read it and they republish it under another title I'm in deep trouble. Don't have a real solution for that one. Pat

Pat, and anyone else who notices an alternate title, please-please-please send an edit showing the alternate title, e.g. "The Ex-Mrs John Doe (aka Jane Dumps John)" in the title field.  It's SUCH an on-going help to all the members.

Pat, I hate when I read a book and then find out that it's a reissue with a different title.

I have read a book but didnt realize I put the same book with a different title on my WL (I did that with a David Bell book) so I read one then got offered the different title..I only realized when I started reading it and said hey, this is familiar..

usually the listing will tell you that its on your transaction archive, and if you try to order it will tell you you ordered before on date __/__/__

but only if its the same isbn.

I use goodreads.com to keep track of all my books.

I use multiple tags:read, tbr, series, on the way from PBS, on the way from amazon, tbr-kindle, dnf, w/l, and then in notes at each book i use the date i finsihed the book.
