with a dash of wit and just a touch of malice,I appreciated her wicked good spirits and essentially compassionate heart and her ability to write.

Great big, chewy novel about beauty and revenge and the entertainment industry. There is an unintended irony here, in that Goldsmith uses cosmetic surgery as a major plot point, only to later lose her own life to complications following a face lift. Good book anyway.

Absolutely LOVED this book! I liked the insight into plastic surgery and the heroine's dedication to pursuing her weight loss goal. It gave a peek into what could happen if you could turn fabulous and then run back into an ex. Great fun!

Revenge never tasted so sweet...Mary Jane Moran was an ambitious New York stage actress who had just lost the olre of a lifetime and the one man she loved---all because Hollywood thought she was too past her prime to star in the movies. But M.J. knew what she had inside---she just neede a little help bringing it out. Two years, forty pounds, sixty-seven thousand dollars, and a full round of nips, tucks, lipos, and implants later, she did it. The Broadway gypsy moth emerged a gorgeous butterfly with a new name: Jahne Moore...svelte, sexy, and ripe for the big time.
