After reading the synopsis on the back cover, I was expecting a murder mystery/romance, and instead, I read all about vampires! Surprise! Yes, the sex scenes were many and graphic, and although the writing was good, I found the characterizations were weak. I liked the main character, Brenden; he was well 'fleshed-out', but his lady love, a vampire with insatiable sexual appetites, was rather wishy-washy. If you like vampire, or should I say, vampyr, sex, this is the book for you.
