Gr. 2-5. At the annual pet day at school, Stacy discovers that Jason has brought his frog. Her whole day is spoiled, and she's crabby with everyone about everything. To top it off, she's sure Jason's frog will spoil the Easter pet parade that the kids are planning. Are her concerns justified? Even more to the point, why does she have such a terrible fear of frogs? Young readers will welcome this humorous new title in the Cul-de-Sac Kids chapter-book series and will like being able to predict the solution to the mystery behind Stacy's fear. Short sentences filled with both lively description and dialogue work together to highlight the clear message: don't prejudge until you understand yourself. Lois Schultz (From Amazon Website)
