William Joyce's artwork is so much fun. Ever since I heard him speak at a book conference, I've gotten more out of his books as his storytelling was wonderful. He comes across as an "out of the box" thinker, just like the characters in his books.

If I remember his one story correctly, he returned to his high school to see his permanent school file to discover that his one gradeschool teacher (4th grade I think) had saved his original story about "Billy the Booger" that he'd take out of his nose to help him with his homework. He was quite surprised to see that she put in his permanent folder because she did not even let him finish reading his story in class. His fellow students loved it, obviously his teacher did as well!

This is the CUTEST story about a little boy who dreams he is tiny. He wakes up that way and has a rough time being small in a big world. Adorable story and illustrations!
