This was a wonderful 'first' book. I am eagerly waiting for the next installment to be available. Really enjoyed the people, light romance and mystery. Lady Fan is a keeper.

I just found this book and took a chance since I was unfamiliar with her other books. This had some fun characters, great plot, and moved right along. There weren't any snafus regarding the period. Overall, i thoroughly loved this book and will look the next Lady Fan book.

Was able to figure out the culprit early on....BUT ...I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am eagerly waiting for the next installment....
