This is the first book of four in the series, "Brides of Webster County". An Amish mom living in the English world due to some circumstances finds herself back in Amish country trying to make choices that will both benefit her daughter and let her utilize her talents. Quick read and true to life. Wanda Brunstetter has obviously researched the Amish life well.

Faith Stutzman Andrews left her Missouri Amish community ten years ago to pursue her career as a comedian. Now widowed, Faith shows up on her parents' doorstep with her six-year-old daughter in tow. Will the lure of the English world prove too strong for Faith, or will she discover that home is where her heart is? Confirmed bachelor Noah Hertzler often bakes desserts that he gives to others, attaching verses of Scripture to each culinary delight in the hopes of soothing the soul as well as nourishing the body. Can Noah's tactics heal a shattered Faith before she runs away again?

Faith Stutzman grows up Amish and leaves for 10 years.,After her worldly mean , drunk Husband dies she returns to the Amish to drop off her daughter for her family to raise. She is met with kindness and love. And she falls for a young Amish man Noah whose mom is always too domestic. This is a most interesting story with it's ups and downs.
