One straaange book! Guy Curran is the epitomy of a man with an obsession and Leonora Chisholm is the object. Once they were teenage sweethearts, before Guy became a wealthy drug dealer. He just can't get it through his head that they are no longer the sweethearts they once were.

Enjoyed it.

Ruth Rendell is always great and this one is no exception. Guy Curran is obsessed with Leonora. They used to be teenage sweethearts, but she has rejected his drug-dealing lifestyle and plans to marry another. Guy is convinced someone in her family is turning Leonora against him. If he can just find out who and get rid of that person.
