This is a book that is small in size, but packed with photographs of paintings of the Impressionist period. There is also some art history text, but I just like looking at the pictures! This is a great book if you were preparing for a trip to France or to an exhibit of several different Impressionists; it also would be a great book to show to a child age 6 and older to give him/her an appreciation the Impressionist era was all about.
