David is a dedicated teacher in a small West Virginia town. When ambitious reporter, Lane Drury's paper hears about his good deeds, Lane is sent to interview David. She thinks the story is lame and he doesn't want the publicity, but a snowy night and a slippery road leaves them stuck with each other.
