Futuristic detective story centering on the theft of valuable pharmaceuticals. Foster's gimmick here is a running commentary by a cynical know-it-all AI.

Snarky robots, assassination attempts, insurance adjustors, and a classic locked room mystery, mixed with humor. This describes "Greenthieves", one of Foster's lesser-known science fiction novels, and one I'm glad I've run into. Plenty of fun!
