This was a great continuation story. Loved it.

Good read.
This book is a continuation of THE OTHER BRIDE by Lisa Bingham. Neil Ballard and Phoebe Gray were both in the same orphanage and had a writing relationship over the years. Finally, he asked Phoebe Gray to marry him. She agrees and then switches places with a 'look-alike' woman she meets.
Thus, Phoebe becomes Louisa Haversham Winslow, married by proxy to a wealthy man. After waiting for her new husband for a month, she finds out he is dead. Is she relieved or frightened?
I found this to be a highly convoluted story that would make fantasy look realistic. I gave it a 3-star rating because parts were very good. However, the whole story of how the girls were separated and their uncle's machinations were strictly for the birds.
