I thought this book was just okay. I read it in about a day, not because it was so good but because I try really hard to stick with a book no matter what it is like. The descrpition on the back talks about Susannah having to stay in the house for one month without leaving in order to get the house and the inheritence, but they also say that the house is haunted. The actual story goes in an entirely different direction and makes little mention of it being haunted and is actually not.

This is the first book I've read by this author, so I didn't know what to expect. The plot sounded interesting though, but it turned out to be totally different. It also ended very abruptly. No steamy scenes in here either.

The writing style was light and easy to read, but I probably won't pick up another by this author.

I really liked this book. It has action and suspense, and is all in all a good light read. It is written in the style of Georgette Heyer, in that there are no steamy scenes, but regardless I really enjoyed the book, and am excited to read more from this author.
