I grabbed this book when a friend of mine was looking for it (I actually got her a copy of it). It looked interesting, so I picked up a copy for myself later on. I was expecting light chick-lit, but was surprised by the depth of this novel. The author does an amazing job of developing Charlotte; I feel like I know her. I want to know what happens to her. I find I actually care (yeah, I totally realize the book is fiction, people). Very well written. I'll be looking for her first book, which I haven't read yet :-)
this is a great story of a mid life divorcee finding the softness and openness inside of herslef. This is a story with unexpected turns.
Great book - she really got into the world of a middle aged divorcee struggling to find her place in the world now that her daughter is grown - very insightful
Good mother-daughter relationship book - they are forced to examine their lives and choices they have made - and shows their growth and success!
Overall decent book. The main character was fairly annoying, she just couldn't move on get over it!
