Books recounts the adventures of Debbie Sue Overstreet and Edwina Perkins-Martin and their new friend and partner in crime, Paige McBride. Paige is a newcomer in town with $200 to her name and a Cadillac SUV loaded with designer clothes. Her oil-rich daddy has cut her off and now it's time for her to get a REAL job.

The women all feel that no problem is insurmountable with a strong margarita, a lot of hairspray and an ear for gossip.

Quick, humorous read.

This book really did not thrill me. It seemed as if you were left in the dark about a lot of things if you did not read the first book. Also, this book seemed ditzy and airy to me, as if perhaps Paris Hilton and other people like her could relate and like this book. As for the mystery part of it all, where I stopped in the book, the mystery was still a mystery as to what it really was (besides horse snatchers..but you were kinda lost on that as well) This book like I said was just too ditzy for me.

This was a disappointing read compared with the author's first one. The continuing characters of Edwina and Debbie Sue are the best things besides the title. The hero/heroine in this one were either unbelievable or bland. There are some funny lines but mostly from the gals mentioned. Also, the story line in this was boring.

A cute book. Not laugh out loud funny, but at least the heroine isn't TSTL.

Good book! Can't wait for the next one! Only complaint was that the ending seemed kind of rushed.

When i read the back of this book i had to have it. Anything that takes place in the South just calls to me. This takes place in Salt Lick, Texas. What a fun place to live!! Debbie Sue Overstreet and Edwina Perkins-Martin are hairdressers and live for gossip, literally. They also have a business called the Domestic Equalizers. You can guess from the name how their business works!! It will bring a smile to your heart and you will be looking for more, and there are more in this series. I truely enjoyed my visit to Salt Lick, Texas on these pages. Think you will also.

Requested it on a whim, was pleasantly surprised, would definately read another by these authors (it was written by 2 people.) Very cute, light hearted, easy to read, and slightly suspenseful.
