This is not my usual genre, but I loved this book!
This book really disappointed me. Penelope Stokes has written some touching Christian books but this is not one of them. I felt that God was really a by-line for some issues the author wished to address. As a Christian reader, I was not encouraged in my faith by this book nor lifted up in my spirit. I think Ms Stokes could do a rewrite & bring in the faith issues of God's Grace to forgive & to get us through, God's redemption of bad situations & God's answers to our needs by bringing others along side us to help. As a Christian, I cannot recommend this book yet I do recommend many other of her books.
