This is a wonderful book. I was especially intrigued as I was born and raised in Santa Monica, California, where most of the story happens. I loved the Beach Boys and listed to them all the time in the 1960's... I had no idea that there was as much trouble and heartache attached to them and their families. I knew Dennis had problems, and Brian too, but this book really tells the whole story, in no uncertain terms...it was sad, but it also brought back some great memories of my wonderful childhood.
