Truly timeless! This is one of those books that EVERY (and I mean EVERY) parent should read. In regards to raising my children, this book reaffirmed what I was already doing , encouraged me to stick to my guns in areas that I was slipping, and called me to a higher discipline in areas where I was blindly failing. I have two fun-to-be-with, well-behaved, respectful, joyful and creative children because of excellent parenting books like this one. Better buy two or three copies because you'll want to constantly hand them out to that parent whose child is ... well, you know! :)

This is a great book if your child is still under five years old. I think this is when you would get the most out of this book.

Wow! I can't believe this book was written over 100 years ago. Mr. Trumbull's humble and practical advice is just what we need to raise happy, content, children who love the Lord.
