Thanks for the compliment on my photo, Cali!  It was taken in Sept. 2016 at the catered dinner held monthly in my apartment building.

Found all of these on Amazon.  AFAIK, the Putney still has a WL here on PBS.

Darcy Burke "Her Wicked Ways"-free-Regency

Alissa Johnson  "Nearly a Lady"-free-Regency

Eugenia Riley "Galveston Bride"-.99-Civil War

Mary Jo Putney "Once a Scoundrel"-.99-Regency.  Her latest.  I was thrilled when it went down to $1.99-but this is better.  Setting is not traditional Regency-and I'm lovin' this series.

Some of Liz Carlyle's books are on sale at Amazon. She's retired from writing now, but I always enjoyed her books.

These are all .99

 A Deal With the Devil

The Bride Wore Scarlet

The Bride Wore Pearls

These are all $1.99

One Touch of Scandal

Never Deceive a Duke

In Love With a Wicked Man

If I had to recommend the best of these, I would say A Deal With the Devil and One Touch of Scandal.

I still have several of Liz Carlyle's books on my TBR shelves.  While I have read most of her works, these have been waiting TBR for years and it doesn't look like I'll ever read them.  If anyone is interested in reading her work, here's a list of the titles I have:

Never Deceive a Duke
Never Romance a Rake
Earl's Mistress, The
In Love with a Wicked Man
No True Gentleman
Bride by Moonlight, A
Bride Wore Pearls, The
Bride Wore Scarlet, The
One Touch of Scandal
Tempted All Night
Wicked All Day

I would be willing to make deals on them if anyone is interested.  PM me and let's talk.

The Matrimonial Advertisement by Mimi Matthrews is on sale for Kindle, .99. I recently started reading this author, and I highly recommend the book. It's a Victorian marriage of convenience story, between two strangers. Very well written, historically authentic, with a serious underlying theme. It's a bit Gothic too, if that's your thing. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

Nice set just dropped today(afaik).  Mary Wine's 4 book set.  It contains:  In Bed with a Stranger; In a Warrior's Bed; Bedding the Enemy; Improper Seduction.  It's $2.99-down from $7.99.  Liked In Bed with a Stranger so now I can enjoy the others.

Jan, I've never read Mary Wine before. Who would you compare her books to?

(I'm not Jan, but...) Paula Quinn, Hannah Howell, Monica McCarty, Amanda Scott, maybe?  It's been awhile since I've read any of those authors, so my memory may be a little hazy, but I think they're a bit similar.  Mary Wine doesn't provide nearly the historical detail of Monica McCarty, and some of her books have a lilttle more graphic sex than these authors.  Her stories and characters are well-written, in my opinion.

Thanks, Cali answered me too, so I am trying out one of her books now. It turns out a lot of them are on Scribd, so I didn't have to buy them.

Yes, to all of the above.  Yes, to the more graphic sex scenes too-but well written.

Another box set today.  Kelly McClymer; "Once Upon a Wedding"-books 1-4 in that series.  .99.  I have book one on my Kindle but haven't read it yet.  It's "Fairy Tale Wedding" I think.

More Mary Jo Putney on sale today at Amazon.

Given yesterday's special I was surprised to see these in my Amazon email today.

No Longer a Gentleman $1.99

Not Quite a Wife $1.99

Never Less than a Lady $1.99

Both "Gentleman" and "Lady" are in the "Lost Lords" Bundle that Amazon has, so if you've ordered that, don't do what I just did and order these separate.  angry

Amazon fixed it luckily. yes

Probably mentioned earlier in this thread, MJP's "Thunder & Roses" is free on Amazon.  Introduces one of my favorite redeemed heros of all time-Michael....

"No Dukes Allowed" .99 a trio of short stories by Kelly Bowen, Anna Harrington and Grace Burrowes.  liked this one-the heroines are more mature, not 18 year olds....

New author for me:

The Duke Knows Best is the last of the Duke's Sons series. I really liked them, but I think it would be more enjoyable if you've read the others first.

Good to know Karin.  I tend to get really confused and usually stop reading if I pick up a series in the middle...

Today, it's Christi Caldwell's "The Hellion" for $1.99 on Amazon.  This one and I think the next one have been on sale for awhile but I don't when that's going to stop.
