Jan, I think it's part of her Pembroke Palace series, which I remember enjoying but it's been quite a few years. I'm going to give it a reread.

Eileen Dreyer usually writes contemporary romance I believe but I just loved this series of historical romance from her. "Drake's Rakes". The first one is .99 today on Amazon "Barely a Lady". Jan |

Jan, I also read one of her books published under Kate Bateman, "This Earl of Mine", it's terrific, and I think the paperback is available here. Lots of humor and a strong heroine, lots of action in the plot.

Bed of Flowers by Erin Satie https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CNGMNWK/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i1 is .99 cents. I have not read this one, but she's a very good writer. Her first book, The Secret Heart, is also free at Amazon, if you want to try her out.

These are listed under K.C. Bateman. She writes her regular historical romances, like "This Earl of Mine" as Kate Bateman. I love her books, really fun and action packed.
