Heart-rending story of abuse and neglect. This is an autobiography of Richard Rhodes, Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winner. After his mother's death, he and his brother are abused and neglected by his stepmother for years. He learns to forgive and move on with his life and becomes very successful.
