This book gets five stars from me because of the hero. He was really tortured, had a number of external things happen to him in a short amount of time that had really messed him up, but he maintained his sense of humor.

More than once his dialogue totally caught me off guard and made me smile. I thought both leads were well drawn and of the three books in this series I've read so far, though I have liked all of them, this one is my favorite.
