excellent aid to strengthening your vocabulary. It uses a methodical, by example approach and was really very easy to process and use on a daily basis. Now, my superior vernacular will keep me ahead in a world that requires such things. Hopefully, you are cogitating about your vocabulary skills and will get this book.

Entertaining and effective guide to: the meaning/history of words, the ability to better express yourself, or to study for vocab tests such as the College Boards, scholarship, Civil Service, etc... Aids and sample quizzes included. Or you could just read it for fun! (c)1983, but still very useful.
