This book is so interesting, and I was a "junker" long before I even knew it!! It's from 1968, so the photos and tastes are a tad dated, but the many ideas it contains...of how to turn old pieces of lamps and furniture into exotic new pieces...is very translatable today. This book has given me many ideas over the years, and because of it I find that I still look at the components of old brass lamps and stuff I see at tag sales in a whole new way. This old book is very hard to part with.

Was a fun read! Although I knew I would never follow in her footsteps, I enjoyed making several of her projects. Some were even made as gifts for those who admired mine!
