Very enjoyable book. I have never read a Jane Feather book, that I did not enjoy.

I liked this OK, it didn't seem as good as the others but maybe it was just me. Seemed to move abit slower but the characters were still fun and had good steamy scenes! A good read to keep in the series.
I really liked the first two but hated this one. It was just dumb. I have a hard time believing that Ellie would join up Greenville after finding out her husband had lied to her all this time. It's one thing to lose your husband and the father to your child to war. It's another for him to let you mourn his death for three years because really he has no intention to return to your boring lives. On top of that his goodbye letter to her was filled with how great Greenville was and by the way hope you say good things to our daughter about her deadbeat dad. And why would Greenville need to recruit her? Really, his aunt and friends would accomplish his goals better.

Only 2 1/2 stars. Most of the actions in this story seemed contrived. I think is was because it was hard for me to believe that a widow and a mother of a child of six would decide to become a spy. Too far out for me. The H/H had their 'happily ever after' and all couples and their families were reunited in the Epilogue.
