Talbots Ace by Diane Whiteside
Charlotte Ace Morland is left home after a dispute with her step-mother and hasnt looked back since. She is well known on the poker tour but she has made some enemies along the way. She has come to town for a big Poker Tournament but she soon realizes her enemies will stop at nothing to get her.

Justin Talbot owns the Hair Trigger Palace and takes care of business in town. He is known for his quick draw and short temper. He and the mayor have been friends and business partners for years but that relationship will be tested when one feisty young lady rides into town.

Charlotte finds herself in serious need of protection and Justin is just the man for the job. He is sexy but more importantly, he makes her feel safe. He stands up to his business partner to protect her and starts to realize that there is something wrong with his friend. Being with Charlotte makes him crave more than this lonely life he is leading, he wants a future with her.

The chemistry between these two was evident from the beginning. I loved Charlottes character, she was smart and funny but she wasnt a helpless female. She was able to get away when she was captured by remaining calm and using her head. She didnt panic and was able to use things around her to say safe. She also knew when to ask for help and thats where Justin comes in.

To Match a Thief by Maggie Robinson
Sir Simon Keith is a long way away from Simon Grant, renowned pickpocket and thief. Simon has always been good with his hands so he moved up the ranks of the army quickly. He ended up in the War Office where he made a name for himself. Now he is a respected businessman.

Lucy Dellamar worked in her aunts millinery shop growing up. She made beautiful hats that were in high demand but her aunt took the credit for them. She met Simon while working at the shop then he left and never came back. Now she is the famous Courtesan for Lord Ferguson, at least she appears to be. Lord Ferguson and Lucy share many things in common, the bed just isnt one of them.

Because of poor investments, Lord Ferguson has to sell his house on Jane Street. They have sold everything they could possibly sell and Lucy has been swiping things from her neighbors to help buy food. Now she is losing her home unless she is willing to become the courtesan for Lord Simon, little did she know that Lord Simon was her Simon from years ago?

Simon is elated to be reunited with Lucy and is determined to make her his again no matter what. He wants to marry her and have a life with her forever. Lucy is still drawn to Simon but she insists that she will not stay there and be with him. They had a wicked time at the Opera that they continued when they got home. Now Simon just has to convince her that he wants her as his wife, not just as his mistress.

A Knack for Trouble by Mia Marlowe
Lord Aiden Stonemere fell in love with Rosalinde Burke while he was the leader of the Irish convicts. She was the Commissioners daughter and she was the only bright spot in his day. After a night of shared passion, Rosalinde was sent to live with her Great-aunt in England.

Aiden inherited Stonehaven and became the new Lord. He has a plan to flush out the real killer of Peg Bass during a party at the estate. He has all the key players there from years ago and if things go according to plan, he will clear his name and be able to court Rosalinde properly.

Rosalinde has never forgotten her stolen night with Aiden. She is drawn to him, even though she should be trying to match with a respectable man like Edwin Musgrave. Her aunt has agreed to provide her with a dowry and give her father money to live on if she makes a respectable match. In her heart though, she knows that no man will satisfy her like Aiden will.

Overall I enjoyed all three of the stories. I think I liked the last one the best because there was love, murder and mayhem. They were all fun stories about gentlemen with a whole lot of bad boy in them. I would definitely recommend this book to others. I give Improper Gentlemen 4 Flaming Hearts.
