This is a bit too far out for my tastes, but then thats me. Before reading this play, research Joe Turner. There is more than that which is hinted on the rear cover. Particularly, you will want to understand the come and gone portion of the title. Scene two of Act two brings this out if you pay careful attention to the blues song and the script.
