Shelley Browning, recovering from a disastrous marriage, is determined to get the college degree she abandoned to wed a young doctor. She's back at Oklahoma University at age twenty-six, a little older and a lot wiser. But Shelley can't explain why she takes a class in government taught by Grant Chapman -- except that she feels compelled to see him again. Ten years ago Grant was the best-looking teacher in her high school. He left after a few months to take a glamorous job as a congressional aide, but not before "the kiss." Unplanned, stunningly hot, and never repeated, a single kiss with Grant haunted Shelley as a symbol of "what might have been" with the right man. Now famous and as charismatic as ever, Grant has abandoned the rat race on Capitol Hill for a university career. Pleased to find Shelley in his classroom, delighted by her honesty and, believing there is no impropriety in dating her, he asks her out. Isn't that what Shelley has secretly hoped would happen?

Ms. Brown,
Stamped & engraved in the Romance genre!
Always & Forever ..Will be... ...
An Exquisite breath of Spring time fresh air, that radiates & simmers from the Romantic pages... truly a Godsend!!!
THANK God through her Classical Love stories... the life force (beauty),the sweetness &sincerity of First Love is immortalized!!

A Kiss Remembered carried & swept me away & back to days of old or OLD SCHOOL... gone by.
Bittersweet days ,that were enthralled with innocence's I hold in my heart dear.
Life or life experiences that Refuses to be sugarcoated or rewritten, but simply to be told like it is, whether politically correct or not!
I have very, very fond memories of first love and of an older man!
I'm sooo elated that Ms. Brown weaves a lovely quilt of life, love& experiences that SHOULD be TRUTHFULLY TOLD ..by alll means!!!
Days of true, real life experiences of innocence stands out with demands.
Ms. Brown does a superb job of telling !

It's very unfortunate that the perils of the world & the days we live in tries to dictate a tyrant hold(in the corners of some people minds) on telling a love story ..tsk, tsk!
We should not allow the world we live in cast a spirit of KILL JOY over relaxing, and enjoying a Good READ and cast an evil shadow over goodness & purity!
A KISS REMEMBERED caress & invokes a soothing easy flow of...
Days of firsts love...the radiant beauty of first love shines & beams sooo brightly in this love story.

I'm so glad & grateful Ms. Brown allows this time-less, ageless ,and human nature live on through her story telling.
I'm sooo happy that she shares her great gift of story telling.
A must, a great need for what is ,what was,& What if's.
Vivid Images of Happy everyafters are told!
Love goes where it pleases and not where it is sent!
What a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L love story, quite an enjoyable READ!
a love story that I'll cherish as a collectible treasure...like a (sweet) KISS REMEMBERED!

Starting her life over after her divorce, Shelley Robins begins taking classes at the local college. There she finds her former high school teacher, Grant Chapman, teaching her Government class. Shelley had always been fascinated with Grant, especially after the surprise kiss from him before he quit teaching to begin a career in Washington, D.C. But his career ended in scandal and he is now teaching in a small Oklahoma college. As soon as he recognizes Shelley, he asks her to go for coffee with him. Shelley isn't sure if she's ready to face the man she never could get out of her head.

This story was first published in 1983 under Sandra Brown's pseudonym Erin St. Claire. The style of this story feels very dated. Grant knows that kissing a high school student could get him in big trouble, but he did it anyway. Now, ten years later, he doesn't understand that a teacher can't date a student who is taking one of his classes. How dumb is this guy? Nearly as dumb as Shelley. She tries to keep her distance from him until he starts kissing her...then she can't seem to stay away from him...until she suddenly comes to her sense and runs away. This scenario is played over and over and over. This is certainly not my kind of romance. My rating: 2 Stars.

Isn't that what Shelley has secretly hoped would happen? Never had she felt more confused about what she really wants. As their relationship grows, guilt mingles with desires she cant deny. Her heart longs to trust Grant; her head thinks intimacy is too risky -- for both of them. And when a stunning accusation emerges and pressures mount from unexpected sources, Shelley is faced with making a leap of faith to believe in love...or with walking away from the man of her dreams.
