I never expected the killer in this novel. I kept reading and I think I read it in about 2 sittings. Lots of surprises and chills in this suspenseful mystery about a serial killer who is killing young stay-at-home moms in a nice, suburban town where Tasha Banks has moved. Tasha has dreamed of living in a town like this, but her dream becomes a nightmare as her friends and neighbors begin dying, one by one.

If you truly love a really good suspense book that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand straight up then THE LAST TO KNOW is the book you must read.
Townsend Heights is a perfect, small town in New York. A peaceful suburban existence that Tasha Banks dreamed of living and raising her children in when she left her fast-paced career to become a full-time, stay at home mom. Now Tasha's perfect dream is turning into a terrifying nightmare she cannot escape. A serial killer is on the loose and looking for a specific kind of prey -- young stay at home moms just like Tasha. Tasha's friends are being killed in the most horrendous ways -- sometimes right in front of their children.

I was hooked from the very first page. THE LAST TO KNOW is a wild ride and an exceptional novel that will keep you guessing with twists and turns that make everyone a suspect right up to shocking finish.

I have read all the books by Wendy Corsi Staub, and I must tell you that I think that this author is an exceptional writer. She writes of murders that keep you on the edge of your seat without resorting to explicit descriptions of the killer's crimes, which is very refreshing for a change.

This is by far my favorite book by this author. She kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. I was drawn in by all the characters and their storylines. It is desperate house-wives with a twist and a serial-killer. Fantastic book!

This was a quick read, but not something I'd read again. The dialogue of the 3-year-old character was so unrealistic that it took away from my reading experience! It was distracting.

The end of the book seemed to wrap up loose ends in a hurry. The story-line was a good one, but it was quite unrealistic. I like my realistic fiction to be more realistic. There were too many twists for me. I didn't stay up late wondering what was going to happen next.
