Elmore Leonard writes westerns as if he lived it and when you read his westerns you will live it too. His dialogue jumps off the page and the action is tense and believable -you feel it. Saber river explodes with tension as one man, Paul Cable takes a stand when told to abandon his Saber Valley ranch,"...move on or die." Cable had an answer - war.
