This book follows the life of Elsa Emerson, a child living in Door County, Wisconsin, with her parents, who run a playhouse. The story starts with her as a child in Wisconsin and follows her through the Golden Years of Hollywood where she becomes Laura Lamont, and then, of course, also through her later years. I really liked this book. I love old Hollywood stories. It really brought that era to life. Recommend!!!
