With Janet Dailey books I either really love them or really am unmoved. This one I loved and read in one sitting. The characters came alive, were believable, interesting and had chemistry. The hero is homely in a very attractive way (those of you who have read enough romance will understand that statement!). Just an overall excellent read. This is the first printing...this book was later released with an updated cover.

The "hero" is not good-looking is repeated over and over in the plot. Especially once you're in love, looks shouldn't be that important.
