Linnea visits Monets garden in Giverny, while there she learns more about Claude Monet than she imagines. Real life pictures of Monet's home, family, and gardens are found in this delightful book for children. The story line is heart warming, as the friendship between Linnea and Mr. Bloom paints a picture within itself. The author meticulously brings attention to the flora that is found growing along their journey. Excellent book.
