An excellent follow-up to Springer's ROWAN HOOD, LIONCLAW chronicles the adventures of the sweet singer who joins Rowan's band. Considered a coward by his father, a fierce warrior, he is cast out--with a price on his head.
Unwilling to fight, the young minstrel faces his most severe challenge when Rowan herself is captured and mortally injured. His race to save her life tests his courage to the utmost--forcing him to dig deep into himself for the will to fight, not for himself, but for his dear friend...and facing his father head on.
A great story, and a tale of courage found! I would recommend this book for any age reader, especially those who love the Merry Men of Sherwood Forest.
