This is a well written book from the Roloff family, the stars of The Learning Channel's reality/documentary series,"Little People, Big World." In one part of the book, Jeremy talks openly about his faith in God and his immense respect for his twin brother, Zach, who, as a little person, struggles to compete against average-sized people on the soccer field. In another, mother & wife Amy shares the importance of sacrifice for those that you love, and how she learned that lesson the hard way. In the book, you see a kinder, gentler side of Amy that is not often shown on the television program. My favorite part of the book was when Zach touched on the sacrifices his siblings made by willingly giving up their traditional family Christmas to be with him in the hospital. The fact that this family is partially comprised of little people is touched on, of course. In our culture, the Roloff family's messages of love, respect, understanding, and sticking together through thick and thin desperately need to be heard. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a five star review are:
-many of the pictures in the book are old pictures that were used in Matt's first book. There are only a handful of new photos.
-Molly's contribution is very small (less than one page.) She seems like a good-hearted, intelligent girl, and I would have liked to hear more from her.

While I haven't read Matt's first book (It is on my Reminder List now); I really enjoyed this book. I am not a parent but I thought of all these family values in my family and in my family that I hope to someday have. I loved how they let each of the kids "author" a chapter-but I agree with another reviewer, I would've liked to have heard more from Molly-I really think she is a great young lady. Maybe next book they can let the kids write. I also would've liked more photos-maybe from the LP conventions, at prom, etc. Also would like more pictures of Amy's family since they aren't shown much on the television series. All in all, if you are a fan of the tv show, you will enjoy this book.

This book was good you really learned how the Roloffs are the way they are. They did give you good values you could use for your family. This book made me appreciate the Roloff family even more now that we got a good insight view of how they want to raise their family in todays world.I liked hearing from the different members of the family and what the values meant to them. This is a fast read.
