I picked this book up in the bookstore on a whim one day, opened it while I was standing in the aisle, and promptly fell in love. Davy Rothbart is an amazing writer. These stories are like the extra bright sunsets caused by smog, the stinging whiteness of new snow, and moments of confusion that leave everything as clear as glass. Lone Surfer is *definitely* worth reading.
Very odd, but enjoyable. He is pretty quirky. It was fun.
