Helpful Score: 1
This book of five mid-length stories includes the title story plus "The Breakthrough," "Not After Midnight," A Border-Line Case," and "The Way of the Cross." The first three are somewhat in the macabre genre. My favorite is "A Border-Line Case" as it has the most action. The last story I found to be rather tedious at best. If you enjoy Du Maurier, this is worth reading.
