I'm a currently-lapsed Usborne Books consultant, but I still L-O-V-E the books, and it's one of the main reasons why I went with Sonlight for a lot of my curriculum for this year.  :)

Right now I'm specfically looking for a few titles to round out our studies this year, namely art books (like the "I can draw..." or " I can paint..." series), and I'd also like a the one I've seen posted for playing the recorder. I'm open to several different book, though.

I've seen some books posted on the general search page, but I thought I'd give this forum a try first, so that one of you could get some things off their shelves before I go "out there". LOL...

I'd really love it if I can get some kind of 2-1 deal or something, but I'd be happy just to find out what you all have available, if anything.

Anyone?

Is this thing on?

No one has any, then? There's several that are listed, which I found by searching the publishers "Usborne" and "EDC", but I thought surely there'd be a homeschooler on this list who had some they'd like me to get them credits for. Oh well, it was worth a try! To the general search field I go! :-)

I don't have any on my shelf right now (we rarely can bring ourselves to part with them LOL) but I am hosting an e-show right now (link is in my siggy) with a fellow PBSer as the consultant.

Becky -

Thanks! :-) My current nursling is only 9 months old, but my longest stretch was with my oldest daughter, who nursed until she was 21 months old. What can I say, the girl liked to snuggle and she's still a cuddle bunny. Thanks to her I became a bit of a lactivist. I had no choice, really -- she wanted to nurse almost 24/7 because of a health issue (nursing is all that comforted her). So I had to learn REALLY quickly how to nurse in public. Otherwise I would have been stuck at home ALL THE TIME. :-)

Julie --

i can completely understand not wanting to give up any of your Usborne books! I'm the same way. Since I'm not currently selling, sometimes I still give away some of my stock as gifts, but BOY is it hard to give away my last copy of a title!!! I hope you have a very successful e-show! Some of my best sales were completely e-shows-- they are so easy and convienient!
